I seriously want to thank ALL of you for making our wedding so special. Sarah said she could not have imagined a more perfect first dance, and I know for a fact that we will remember that moment for the rest of our lives. To everyone who helped to coordinate the performance (and more importantly kept it a surprise!!), we are forever grateful.

As for the band as a whole, they were UNBELIEVABLE. We received so many compliments throughout the night, and at least half a dozen people asked how they could book them for their weddings :)

I am ever grateful for the amazing job The James Gang did for her big day. They are such pros! Their song selection as well as performance quality are extraordinary, and the dance floor was so crowded through the night that people were “carpet dancing.” I also appreciated the kindness the band showed Jaclyn and Scott by allowing them to practice their first dance while they were getting their reveal peek at the ballroom. When the reception began, Corky informed me if there was anything I needed to simply let him know and he would make it happen. It was every MOB’s dream!

A very memorable part of the evening was when we were on the dance floor, my husband tapped me on the arm and said, “Jim is here!” I so value your effort to travel all the way to Monarch, and words cannot express how special that was to me. The 8 piece string octet,elegant duet and James Gang were absolutely AMAZING! Having the violinists serenade the guests down the tree-lined pathway to the cocktail hour was something out of a movie and nothing that had been experienced before by any of the guests! They couldn't stop talking about it (that was the goal)! All the guests commented on how great the James Gang was and sounded exactly like the original artists' songs they sang. The crowd enjoyed dancing to their music all night; just wish it could have been longer. They sounded absolutely fantastic and spot-on, just wish it could have been longer.

I was so happy to have Jim there to oversee the event and make sure everything went smoothly. That was so nice of him; I know he can't come to every single event! I am so appreciative that Jim let my son, Stevie, play drums with the band for one song. He did great and brought the house down! The other band members high-fived him after the song and you could see they were very impressed with his unexpected talent. Having my son play that song meant more than words can say. We are grateful Jim made that happen for us. He is the BEST!

THE BEST LIVE WEDDING BAND EVER! And overall, some of the best live performances I’ve heard… better than some of the original artists. :) Their version of Prince’s Kiss put me on another planet… no joke.

James Gang made our daughter’s wedding at Riviera Country Club simply spectacular.

As we all know, the band is by far and away one of the most important elements of the whole wedding formula.

Judging by the rave reviews we had from all of our guests, and from the way the dance floor was PACKED throughout the evening, literally with our guests dancing the night away, James Gang hit the ball out of the ballpark (or in a more apt metaphor given the venue, 400 yards down the middle of the fairway).

Professional, courteous, eager to please, “all in,” and easy to work with, James Gang was simply top notch in every way, and each song they played – from rock classics, to Motown, to contemporary favorites – came alive in a big, bold and high impact way.

And Jim – last but certainly not least – you and your entire team are high level professionals that were an absolute pleasure to work with from beginning to end.

I wish I could send you all the emails, texts and phone messages that I have received in the last couple of days to tell me how AWESOME the band was! And they were…..they were spectacular!!! One guest said that she closed her eyes during various songs and decided that the actual artist must be on stage singing hers or his own songs!

People who say they never dance are now saying that their feet are killing them because they danced the night away!

I loved how fluid and seamless they are from one song to the other. I have been at other weddings where the band will finish one song and take several seconds until they decide what their next song will be and thus lose some of the folks on the dance floor. But not James Gang!!

A couple of people have already asked me for your contact information so that they can talk with you about booking James Gang in the future. I could go on and on about their professionalism, their presence on stage, their masterful perfection of each and every song! Suffice it to say….they were sensational!

Please thank them for me for the most outstanding evening of entertainment. They could not have been more perfect…flawless, consummate entertainers all with gorgeous voices, great harmony and the musicians were staggeringly impressive.

My only regret is that I did not get to introduce myself to them because I was so busy dancing the night away!!!!

Their guests had an incredible time and we couldn't keep them off the dance floor. I got numerous comments throughout the night regarding the quality of the band members, their amazing repertoire as well as the fun atmosphere they were able to create for the evening.

Jim & Karleen- thank you so much for your time and help talking through the timeline. It really timed out to be perfect and we never lost the "party" momentum. I appreciate your help with that.

Corky was an absolute delight to work with. We had a great meeting when he arrived to go over details and that allowed for a seamless evening. All of the band members were very friendly and easy to work with. I was blown away with their high energy performance that did not fade from the first song to the last.

I wanted to particularly note that the couple was VERY appreciative of them taking on "Chicken Fried" by ZBB. IT WAS AMAZING!!! Corky and I both talked about how for the right crowd, that song is HUGE hit. The crowd went wild and it brought everyone to the floor! It was such a fun thing to hear them do a take on country!!

As always, I am thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and quality of West Coast Music and James Gang. Corky & the group have that innate sense of when to play a certain song to really maximize the party and get the crowd excited! When they had to leave the stage for breaks, the transitions were seamless and the sound technicians were so helpful in keeping the music alive. Simply put, my clients and their guests were blown away!

I think they were fantastic! The transitions between the band, Dj and Persian music were seamless. They had high energy and everyone seemed to love them. We were very happy. They played mostly what we wanted - maybe 2 songs we weren't crazy about but it was still great energy. People are still commenting on how great the band was (especially in comparison to Encore whom my friends have mostly seen in the last 2 years.) I think Encore is great too - but James Gang has an amazing energy and ability to read the crowd. We loved how the looked on the raised stage too!
Also, everyone was saying they loved when my son sang with the band. It was a little crazy as my son was not the most cooperative that evening, but I guess it worked and my friends loved it. Thank you for letting him sing with the band. It really was one of the highlights of the evening. And a huge thank you to the band for changing the key and checking with Jordan's voice teacher to make sure everyone was on the same page.

The band was AMAZING!!!! Micaela said she was so happy how it all went down. They were so good people just had to get up and dance. And dance we did!!! They interacted with the crowd too, I would give them a hand pump every now and then to let them know we loved them and they were right there acknowledging you saw them and gestured to them. The father of the groom paid an unassuming compliment. He came up and said he thought they were going to be playing a lot of songs off tracks and did they not do that? The band was beyond compare on Saturday night at Ben's bar mitzvah. They ran the show smoothly, sounded fantastic, and I am in love with Brandi's voice - I could have listened to her all night. The whole thing - from the voodoo lounge, to the band doing the rocking hora, to the song choices, to the way everything flowed were spectacular.
Jake, the beatboxer was so generous to let Ben be the spotlight in his act - he was amazing and harmonized with my son in a way that made it seem like they had been beatboxing together their whole lives.
Jim did the music for my wedding 16 years ago, and I knew that I would not be disappointed at this event either. My only complaint is that the evening went by far too quickly and as the hostess, I couldn't just sit with my glass of wine and listen all night long.
